I wanted to buy a small house in Astoria for almost a year. It was difficult because of low inventory and a hot seller’s market. Homes were pending hours after being listed. However, Judy kept me posted as soon as something came on the market and kept my spirits up when I wasn’t the successful bidder and was feeling low. I met Judy on a trip to Oregon in January 2019. She put together several showings for me to view on a weekend trip. One year later, the decision to sell and relocate made, and an offer on our then current home, in process, it was time to make another trip to find the new home. During this year we were in constant contact with Judy. She was keeping us up to date on market conditions and providing moral support and even meaningful advice on our marketing process in Hawaii.
Sounds simple, except, we were relocating from Hawaii, and we were relocating with five cats, and we needed a rental for 30 to 60 days while we waited for our household goods to arrive…..and we were in the middle of a pandemic.
Judy came through with the home selection process. Assistance with the rental setup, so that when I arrived at the Seaside rental at 1 AM on a Thursday morning with 5 felines in tow, everything was set up and ready for me and the cats to move in.
We were fortunate to have Judy as our Realtor. Her Attention to all details, her professionalism, her ability to be available when ever needed and to be a source of help even comfort and assurance, made this crazy move and relocation somewhat bearable.

Can’t say enough about Judy. Being able to work with her has been nothing short of a miracle. We began our search for a home in the area between Astoria and Seaside over a year ago as out-of-towners. Judy kept us up-to-date on any new listings that she felt would meet our criteria (which was no easy task!). She really gets it – after we made one scouting trip she was able to nail down what we wanted/needed and kept us on track in spite of a very shallow housing market. She also was able to find a fabulous home for us to rent once we moved down to Oregon to further pursue our house hunt. After a few stops and starts we finally settled on a home newly under construction. This was an incredibly difficult and stressful journey but she hung in there for the ride and got us to the goal line. Her extensive escrow background combined with her impeccable attention to detail more than served our needs – it was a life saver. Judy came recommended to my husband and I and she did not disappoint. How we wish all realtors were like Judy! From my very first email to the day we closed on our house in the Gearhart/Warrenton area, Judy went above and beyond to make sure we ended up with the house that is just right for our family. We spent just under a year working with her and in that time she was our ultimate guide in choosing the right area and house on the North Coast. House hunting is a wild ride for buyers and many times I felt like Judy was our life line in what is a very emotional process. Even though my closing date had to be extended due to prolonged repairs, she was always on top of coordinating the changes and kept me updated on progress of the repairs by making several trips to the house. She had solid advice for negotiating the listing price and recommended repairs to ask for that I would have missed. Her expertise and knowlege of the title paperwork gave me confidence that all the title papers were in order. We purchased a home in Cannon Beach after a long extensive search. We live in Washington state and because of the distance, it was necessary for Judy to be available, on short notice, to show us new listings. She even made herself available on her birthday.
